本作是一部关于癌症的医疗类纪录片。项目组选择蹲守在复旦大学附属肿瘤医院，拍摄2021年来肿瘤医院治疗的病人，和在肿瘤学科进行深耕的医学工作者。通过记录在治疗过程中展现的医学进步、生死之间的人性等社会人文议题，来推动医患双方的理解和认知上的进步。。刘成德因误杀人刑满释放后，接回了自己多年不见的儿子，去当了出租车司机。满以为新的生活就此开始，却不想早年相识的大哥不再是曾经，叛逆的儿子不听管教……。Haunted by the death of his father and other psychological traumas, Daniel (Roberto Scorza) returns to the home where he was raised.
