故事时间为战国时代，世上具有各种魑魅魍魉、异形妖怪等等总称为「暗」的存在。喜欢人类的暗·妖狐小玉，以及厌恶人类的仙道·迅火，姊弟两人进行著扫荡罪恶的救世活动。另外还有一群专门对付暗的僧侣·断怪众，他们以不人道的方式进行人体改造，迅火等人与他们产生激烈冲突！人类当中也有坏人，非人类的存在也不见得都是邪恶的，迅火因过去的事而极其讨厌人类，但在旅程当中，也逐渐目睹到人类善良的一面，他是否能有所转变呢……。一篇小說與一段現實，三個同志與兩場婚姻，當愛情與親情難以調和時，生活蔓延出難以安居的無奈與遺憾。此片透過對傳統婚姻觀念的省思，來看待少數性取向的人們在生活中所面臨的壓迫與抑鬱，從而叩問何謂幸福的家庭價值觀？。A pilots pregnant wife is killed by a band of thugs who break into their home.
