A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。该剧以小人物折射大历史，反映长春60年间，特别是改革开放以来城市的发展变迁，市民精神风貌和从中彰显出来的城市精神，同时将一汽、长影等长春元素有机地结合剧中，通过关注棚户区改造，下岗再就业等民计民生问题，来讲述老百姓的故事。。
