本片讲述了一个本来具有光明前景的滑雪运动员却因故不得不退出，为了谋生，他开始在当地的停车场工作。他仍然不断的在努力，然后在历经挫折，在几次比赛中失利后，他开始自暴自弃，放弃了自己的梦想。然而，他的朋友却一直相信他能够成功……。1973年某部队通信连里班长韩琳、新兵姜士安、张雁南在一起学习、生活。出身贫苦的农村兵姜士安在生活上受到了韩琳细致入微的关心，这使他渐渐喜欢上了善良、漂亮的韩琳。从小就娇生惯养的张雁南也在韩琳的帮助下不断的提高着自己的能力。而韩琳在努力学习、刻苦工作的同时对英俊、潇洒的军宣队队员彭湛渐生好感。姜士安的父亲在农村老家里给姜士安找了一个比姜士安大四岁并且没有文化的未婚妻。这使姜士安陷入矛盾之中，他喜欢着韩琳而韩琳对他则没有感觉。面对现实姜士安在父亲的压力下只好无奈的与未婚妻翠花结了婚。。At the time of the Polish social regime, a security officer is promoted to work at a prison yard.
