The heroine navigates along the route of the French Foreign Legion from Marseille to Sidi-Bel-Abbes via Calvi on a contemporary Odyssey that is at once political and sensuous.。Elaine（樊亦敏）出生寒微，任职舞小姐，却意外认识了身患绝症的富家公子Gordon（吴启华）。Gordon在认识Elaine後，感染到前所未有的积极、乐观，令他重燃生命的斗志。 Gordon与Elaine相遇并相爱，但由於Gordon与Elaine的身份及背景悬殊，他们的恋爱亦无疾而终。可是，Gordon心有不甘，他要兴建一间医院，因为Elaine曾答应在医院落成的那日，会出席参加庆典。医院落成的日子终於来临，Gordin期待的日子终於来临，在开幕庆典上，Elaine的影子再次出现。。
