搜查一课的刑警柴崎的女儿被杀害。警察组织全员拼命进行了搜查，但案子终究悬而未破。案发15年后，专门为针对未解决事件而成立的专项搜查班使得事态发生急剧转变。当年现场存在许多疑点，因此侦查也毫无进展，但重新梳理这起案件时，搜查班确定了“某个男人”，他应该就是凶手。柴崎的后辈川澄等人于是开始行动。另一边，独自追寻真相的柴崎，因某通电话而使得自己背负了“某种嫌疑”...本剧讲述的是在重重疑念中，川澄剥丝抽茧，终究寻找到真相的故事。。根据俄罗斯民间故事改编。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children.
