在曾經的家園步步為營地過活，這裡還有希望嗎？ 翻天覆地的海水徹底摧毀香港，淹沒大部分陸地，水退後只剩高樓的頹垣敗瓦露出海面。倖存的Asha獨自藏身廢墟之中，必須噤聲低調，打撈海面漂浮的剩餘物資過活，以避過水面及水底的威脅。隨著小女孩Hei Hei漂來，打破了Asha平靜的生活。 《水過留痕 The Calm Beyond》以香港作為背景，是已故導演王新國 Joshua Wong的首部長片，於2020 Adelaide Film Festival首映，以大膽的攝影手法及CGI技術獲得高度評價 。 王新國導演在頑強對抗癌症期間完成拍攝，於2020年末逝世。他亦是獨立樂隊的主音結他手，對生活的熱情激勵了無數人。「如果你聽見這段廣播，這裡尚存希望」。In the spring of 1944 an RAF Mosquito Squadron are ordered to attack a German rocket fuel plant in Norway.
