故事发生在十二世纪的英格兰，年纪老迈的亨利二世国皇打算举行一次聚会去选出他的皇位继承人。他召唤了诡计多多的太太，希望聚为妻子的情人，他的三位儿子及年轻但狡猾的法国皇帝菲猎；他们无一不希望可以统领皇族。为了能争夺亨利的帝国，众人都不惜用尽一齐办法去令因国皇相信自己的演说……。Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: “$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it. He drives to a cabin in a remote mountain town, where he meets Josef, his cinematic subject for the day. Josef is sincere and the project seems heartfelt, so Aaron begins to film.
