糸井のぞによる同名マンガをもとにした本作。主人公の幸田すももは生きることも死ぬこともできず、自殺の名所「志手の岬」から徒歩5分にあるオーベルジュ・ギルダを訪れる。店主の白石夕雨子の言葉を受けたすももは、住み込みで働くことに。それぞれに事情を抱えた客が、オーベルジュ・ギルダでの滞在を通して再生していくさまを目の当たりにし、すももの心境に変化が生まれていく。。林晓的母亲刘翠霞被出轨的父亲林震东和小三陈芸逼得“上吊自杀”。林晓悲痛返乡，却发现哥哥林阳性情大变：不仅当天火化了母亲（违反“死于非命停棺三日”的民俗），还用塑料袋装骨灰，甚至帮父亲和小三说话，污蔑母亲不忠。。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized". The maker does not like to use this word and prefers to say "restored" but to all intents and purposes it is seeing the war in colour that makes it more gory and emotional.
