边地藏族常说：人丢了伴难过一年，鸟丢了伴难过一世。说的就是喜玛拉雅兀鹫。这种被当地人称为高山兀鹫的鸟是藏族的神鸟。它们一生只有一个伴侣，不出意外的话，两只鸟儿可以相伴长达20多年，留下十几个后代。它们在悬崖上筑巢，每年只生一只蛋，把唯一的宝贝养大是兀鹫一家永远的梦想。本片将纪录这一梦想实现的过程。。Nahuel lives with his father in a fishing town, yet he has a deep fear of the sea. One day, he finds a magical book that seems to be the solution to this problem, but a dark sorcerer is after it and captures Nahuel's father. This is where his journey to rescue his father and overcome his fears begins。
